This Orangutan tour package make for your short time to Tanjung Puting National Park and you just need time only 1 day. Read more for the itinerary.
If you using the klotok :
- We will pick you up at you hotel or we meet in Kumai Harbour.
- We can start the trip early morning about 7am or 8am. We boating up to Camp Leakey about 4 – 4,5 hours. Your lunch provide on the boat. When you arrived at Camp leakey you have oppotunity to see the Information center and than trekking into the forest to see the orangutan feeding at 2pm.
- After feeding, going back to the boat and boating down slowly to observe the proboscis monkey or other primates or birds a long the river side.
- End route we stop at Nipah Palm area to see the fire flies ( depend on the weather) and you can take a cande light dinner arround the fireflies.
- After dinner, back to Kumai harbour and trasfer to your hotel.
If you using the speed boat :
- We will pick you up at you hotel or we meet in Kumai Harbour.
- We can start the trip early morning a bout 8am. If you using the speed boat, you can visit to feeding places, they are Pondok Tanggui and Camp Leakey.
- We boating up to Pondok tanggui and when you arrived at Pondok Tanggui Camp you can trekking into the forest and see orangutan feeding at 9am. After feeding, you can continuing your trekking in this area and than back to the speed boat to go to Camp Leakey.
- Lunch provide on the speed boat with lunch box. After lunch we go to Camp Leakey to see the orangutan feeding at 2pm.
- After feeding we going back to the speed boat and back to Kumai Harbour. But on the route we can stop if we see the proboscis monkeys or other animals on the river side.
Upon arrival at Kumai Harbour back to your hotel.
Our tour package includes:
- Transfer in-out from airport or hotel
- Houseboat or speedboat
- Entrance fee to the national park
- English speaking guide
- Meals as mentioned in the itinerary. Beverages and local chef service during the tour. (Please let us know if you have any food alergies or special dietary)

- Flight tickets but if you need we can handle it if you get trouble booking like our guest before.
- Travel insurance
- Souvenir and other personal expenses, please bring Rupiah with you
- Gratuity for tour guide and boat crews

Pricing :
- 1-2 pax : 500 USD
- 3-4 pax : 270 USD / person
Deposit : Each tour registration must be pay the downpayment minimum 50% from total payment or full payment will be right. We receive the payment by wire transfer using transferwise, western union (USD and IDR), we cooperate with Doku high security (Receipt IDR). The rest of payment will be settled upon arrival in Pangkalan Bun and i will give you invoice.
